Crafted from a circa 1940 linen tablecloth, these one-of-a-kind summer pants blend nostalgia, sweetness, and soul. The tablecloth—patterned with cherries and apples—evoked memories of homemade pies and NAO's 2015 track Apple Cherry:
"Tell me what you're thinking. Could I help you decide?"
The fabric forms the lower legs and pockets, while select NAO lyrics trail down the pant side—like a quiet conversation between past and present.
One of my fondest pie memories? Baked in the ceramics kiln at the San Francisco Art Institute—an Apple Cherry pie made unforgettable by a sculpture manager who soaked the cherries in brandy.
